★ A couple of outfits from the past week! ★

Hi besties! Today I'm bringing you some outfit inspiration (maybe, if your style is even relatively similar to mine)! Because one of my favourite things to do is dress up I end up wearing a lot of different outfits in a week and well here's what I've worn since last Saturday! I'll also include where I got the inspiration!

Sunday 2021.7.18

This look was inspired by Ruki from the early days of The GazettE and other vkei from the early 2000's! As I usually do, I did my makeup first, then chose an outfit and as the last thing I did my hair. I decided to wear a white contact lense on my right eye and to be honest the look would've maybe been better without it. But at the same time is that really true? Anyway I covered what little I have left of my natural eyebrows and drew on these tiny eyebrows and just used lots of black eyeliner on my eye makeup and black lipstick on my lips. The tiny eyebrows kinda make me wanna shave all of my eyebrows cause they look super cool.

Anyway the outfit is a bit questionable as most of my outfits are. I put on this long-sleeved lace shirt I bought from New Yorker a while ago, it was on sale, and I put it on the wrong way because I don't like v-necks; then I decided to wear this corset like top that I bought from a thrift store like 10 years ago and that I really shouldn't wear cause it's so small that it makes breathing difficult and in fact I don't think I'm ever going to wear it again cause no also it has too much white in it it doesn't even match the outfit; then I wore maybe my favourite item of clothing ever, the pinstripe jacket that I thrifted 2,5 years ago and have diyed a lot as in added lots of chains and safety pins; then I added pinstripe shorts that I also bought from New Yorker a while ago. For accessories I decided to wear my studded choker it's my fave ever, a studded belt, a wallet chain, fishnets, a leg warmer that's actually an arm warmer I cut off from a shirt and my 5 inch Demonias.

My hair was pretty simple, straight but not straightened and hairpins in the shape of X's cause I thought they'd look cute and they did. I thought of Suzuya Juuzou from Tokyo Ghoul as I put them in my hair.

Monday 2021.7.19

Monday's look was inspired by NANA and Rokku Gyaru! I looked at pictures of gyaru makeup and did something like that. I put on blue eyeshadow because I already knew what clothes I'd be wearing and the outfit had blue in it. I also used the fake eyelashes I bought like two weeks ago just for gyaru inspired makeup, and added blue diamond stickers to the corner of my eyes.

I started to build the outfit from the bottom this time. As I said it was NANA inspired, so quite obviously I decided to wear my garter belt and knee high socks and a plaid skirt. Unfortunately I don't have a red plaid skirt, so I used my blue one that surprisingly I've thrifted years ago. To match the colors I put on my Iron Maiden t-shirt, but unlike usually I didn't tuck it in the skirt. I also wore the pinstripe jacket again, and for accessories I chose my black studded choker (to no one's surprise), two belts (I considered putting on a third one too) and my Demonias again cause I like being super tall (I'm over 190 cm when I wear them).

My hairstyle was inspired by Aoi from The GazettE and Rokku Gyaru! I used this super cute heart-shaped hair pin for pinning back my "bangs", leaving the rest of the hair open.

Thursday 2021.7.22

I actually dressed up twice this day because the first look didn't turn out well. I did my makeup like I usually do but kept my eyebrows short and added white eyeliner to the inner corner of my eyes.

My outfit was pretty simple, I chose to wear a long-sleeved shirt that was GREY (I hate grey), black very ripped jeans, and a white dress shirt open over the grey striped shirt. I also wore the usual studded choker and my Demonias, and a cute silver bracelet.

I didn't feel like doing anything to my hair, so I just left it like that. It was looking extra silky cause I washed it just a couple hours before.

Friday 2021.7.23

Today I got ready the fastest I've gotten ready in a very long time, it only took me half an hour to dress up. My outfit was inspired by Uruha from The GazettE, specifically blue-haired Uruha because I have a picture of him on my wall and decided I'd take inspiration from that outfit today. I wore the lace shirt again that I wore last Sunday as well (not to expose myself but I bought it just because of the picture of blue-haired Uruha), and put on my black leather skirt cause it was the closest thing to a vinyl leather dress that I own (I've been meaning to turn two pairs of vinyl pants into a dress cause I can never wear the pants because the rubbing noise they make when I walk is unbearable, but I still haven't gotten that far (update a year later; I still haven't got a vinyl dress and in case I some day finally manage to turn those pants into a dress I am only going to use the black pair, the other pair is pink)). Then I made a quick choice between fishnets and garters, choosing the fishnets cause I hadn't worn them this week yet. I also put on the studded choker because seriously it is the best ever. For shoes I chose to wear my black platform boots I bought from H&M last summer.

My makeup was the one that I do the most, it's surprisingly inspired by Uruha too. I've done it so many times by now that it doesn't take me very long to do it. I again didn't do anything to my hair except brush through it.

Thx 4 reading this post, hope you liked it! <3

My first blog entry (because we're going to pretend that I haven't had a blog before)

Today's entry: Introduction of sorts, How I painted my new band t-shirt!

Hi and welcome to Angel Blood!! I've seriously been thinking about starting a new blog for all year and finally decided to do it (and thankfully people supported the idea!). I'm probably mostly going to write about style related things (clothes, makeup, hair etc.) but I can't promise that I won't write about anything else.

I know that blogs are very last decade if not even the second last decade (as in 2000's) and if I actually wanted to like "gather an audience" or something I should use TikTok and Youtube, like make videos, but frankly enough I don't want to. I hate making videos, and I've tried using TikTok and it's just not for me, like no </3. So I'm starting another blog, probably my 4th or 5th lol.

Also the blog name is from me mishearing the lyrics to DOGMA by The GazettE, I thought that the lyrics went like "Angel blood" but it was actually "Hate your life" haha. It was very much not the first of their songs I've understood wrong, like sometimes I can't even tell if the lyrics are in English or Japanese. Anyway! I really like the aesthetic of "angel blood" so that's what I'm going with.

I'm not going to make myself any kind of schedule, I'll write something whenever I want to and I hope that that'll prevent me from wanting to abandon the whole blog lol. And also if you ever have anything you'd like me to write about just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

T-shirt tutorial yay!!

And now so that the first entry won't be super boring here's also a tutorial on how I painted my new (and currently only) The GazettE t-shirt (I could say I'm sorry for constantly talking about The GazettE but I'm not like right now I just like them so very much that they're always on my mind)! But yes so what I used were a plain black t-shirt that was like 5€ at H&M, I bought it just for this, fabric paint & acrylic paint because I ran out of white fabric paint, a template? a stencil? for the texts + the picture on the front and paint brushes etc.

I made the template so that I opened the reference pictures on my laptop and drew them through on normal copy paper (A3 size so like two A4's taped together) and then cut out the pictures with a box cutter (though the first couple of letters I cut out with scissors because I was too lazy to look for a box cutter just yet). Then I placed the template on the t-shirt (don't forget to put something inside the shirt to avoid the paint from going through on the other side like I forgot when I painted the front) and drew out the picture/letters with a white paint marker (you can just paint straight through the template if you don't have white markers).

Then I painted the first layer and let it dry, after which I painted the details of the letters and the picture with black paint, cleaning up the edges too, and then added a second layer of paint. Then I repeated the whole thing on the back except this time I realised that I should put something inside the shirt to avoid the paint going through to the other side. Though it didn't come without complications either cause now the shirt has small pieces of paper stuck on the inside oops. Anyway the last step is to iron the new painted pictures but I haven't done that yet. And I'll probably use my hair straightener for it anyway instead of an actual iron.

Also the only reason why acrylic paint might not be the best thing to use on clothes is because the paint gets really stiff when it dries instead of moving with the fabric like actual fabric paint does so that's something to think about. In my opinion acrylic paint is alright for smaller pictures/letters but if it's a bigger picture like the silhouette in the front it's probably not the best idea and you should use fabric paint. Oh yeah and I ended up cutting off the collar of the shirt so I can also use it as an off the shoulder shirt instead of just regular t-shirt.

Here are more pictures of the shirt and the making of, and also I hope you like my blog as much as I do!! <3

Update: I didn't remember to iron the shirt before washing it and a lot of paint left after the first wash so... it is truly a good idea to iron the fabric you've painted before washing it.
