A Night Out In Helsinki + Rammstein Concert Outfits !!

Happy my birthday to all of you!!! Isn't it a great day... Anyway considering that today's post is about my trip to Helsinki to see Rammstein, today's music recs are my fave Rammstein songs...

·:*¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨*:·
★ Ich Will
★ Mein Teil (loved this song even before I seriously started listening to Rammstein)
★ Herzeleid
★ Ich Tu Dir Weh
★ Bück Dich

So basically... I tested how good my lovely car is as in if it'll survive a trip to Helsinki (I was mostly worried about whether I can drive a high enough speed on the highways...) and the answer is that it is literally the best car ever and it survived. It would've been cheaper to take the train alas I went by a car cause I had so much stuff to take with me. I listened to Rammstein all the way there and back (I only had two CDs... Herzeleid and Sehnsucht that my dad burned like in the late 90s if I'm right), first on the way there to prepare for the concert and then on the way back cause I got so obsessed after seeing them live... Literally listening to them right now, too.

I went down to Helsinki already on Friday cause there was a rave/electronic music festival I wanted to attend... At first it was really lame cause there were so few people and I went there alone but a bit after me this really cool girl arrived there and we ended up spending the night together... The music itself was alright, I enjoy electronic music even though you might not guess it looking at me, and after a few drinks I even ended up on the dance floor (mostly cause the cool girl wanted to dance lmao).

Anyway the point is my outfit. This is literally the slayest and coolest outfit I have ever worn and it is hard to top... I made the skirt, the top and the wrist cuffs that you can't really see in any pics myself, I already owned both a silver skirt and a top but I made them into something that I actually like!! I used the same pattern for the skirt as for the vinyl leather skirt I made for Turmion Kätilöt (see here) and the top I basically made free hand like I didn't make a pattern I just measured myself and cut and sewed the pieces based on vibes...

Also for this look I thought that a gyaru makeup would slay the most so that's the look I ended up doing... I also put on my pink contact lenses and painted my nails silver and I looked sooooo cute.

What I'm wearing:

★ coat [S.D.L. clothing] (literally the coolest coat ever UGH)
★ skirt [Ang3l Bl00d clothing]
★ top [Ang3l Bl00d clothing]
★ boots [demonia] (someone asked me on the street if I was a metalhead or a Eurovision freak cause the coat said metalhead but the shoes said Eurovision... also my feet hurt SO MUCH after wearing these boots all night... worth it though)
★ backpack (thrifted, originally from h&m)

The actual concert day... I got back to my hotel a bit before 7 am this morning so I slept in till about 2 pm... I meant to go shopping since there are so many stores in Helsinki that I don't have anywhere near me and I actually drove into the heart of Helsinki but I got so stressed just as I was about to drive into a parking hall that I ended up driving back to my hotel without doing any shopping... Good for my bank account.

Back at my hotel I quickly ate a little something and then I got ready for the concert. I decided on Thursday that my original plan wasn't sufficient and then I made myself these vinyl leather shorts (inspired by Coal Chamber's bassist, see the pic below for reference) to wear to the gig. For the whole look the inspiration was just pictures of Rammstein... I felt drawn to the guy on a leash that had one white contact lense who I have now learned is called Richard Z. Kruspe (can't believe I'm obsessing over someone called Richard...) and since I still have a white contact lense from last Halloween I put it on. I also wore white face paint cause I love any possibility to wear it.

Since the shirt I meant to wear with the shorts was impossible to tuck into the shorts cause they were so skin tight and tiny I ended up ripping both the hem (and also the sleeves even though you couldn't see it since I wore the coat all the time...) so the shorts would be visible. And as a certified Uruha of The GazettE lover I obviously also wore garters...

The concert was like the most impressive I've ever been to and one of my faves too... Ugh I love live music... The best songs at this concert in my opinion were Du Hast, Du Riechst So Gut and Sehnsucht cause the pyros the had were so so insane... However they also played Mein Teil and Ich Will... Regarding Ich Will I have some really sad news and it is that last week as I started to prepare for the concert aka pulled up Rammstein on Spotify I found that they had an official playlist of their setlist for this tour and obviously I listened to that and so at the concert I knew what they were playing and when... Thinking I was smart I left the crowd before the last song, Rammstein, so there wouldn't be such a rush when I had to get out... But I forgot... That they still had TWO songs left on the setlist... The second to last being Ich Will... and I had had such a good place at the K18 area's barricade... I will regret that move forever and now I will never ever leave before it's clear that the band has actually ended their set...

Anyway [through tears] I also spent 100€ on their merch... I got a huge tour poster, a t-shirt I had been eyeing online already last year, and a pink and black t-shirt that says 'Pussy' on the front and 'Just A Little Bitch' on the back... That song is so iconic and I can't resist funny things like so obviously I had to get the shirt. Unfortunately they didn't sell any CDs :(.

What I'm wearing:

★ coat [S.D.L. clothing] (literally the coolest coat ever UGH)
★ shorts [Ang3l Bl00d clothing]
★ shirt [new yorker, styled by me]
★ boots [demonia] (I was in so much pain after getting back to the hotel cause of two nights of wearing insanely high heels that you can't believe it...)
★ necktie (thrifted)
★ choker (ebay)
